Defender Dan Evans and the versatile Warren Daw have _ both decided to retire. After playing such integral roles in the club’s rise from being a South West Peninsula League club to where they sit today, while striker Josh Grant has decided to join Western League side Buckland Athletic for next season.
Grant ended the season by turning out for the Homer’s Heath club, but he too has been a loyal servant to the Lambs, but feels the time is right to move on.
“Evo and Wazza have been unbelievable servants and fantastic players for me and the club and they are great lads as well,” manager Stuart Henderson said.
“We have built good friendships and they will be missed. Personally, I think they are giving up a year or two too early and selfishly, I want them to stay on, but I understand their reasons and I respect that they want to go out at this level. I have nothing but praise for them both, they are both lovely lads and they have been a real credit to themselves, their family and the football club.
