poetry POET Steve Spence has praised Plymouth's "ever-expanding" scene after an outstanding year in which the city hosted some major events and welcomed top poets to the city.
Looking back over a busy 12 months, Steve has selected his highlights of the poetry year and said: "There is now an established mix of publishing book and magazine, both paper and online - and live events in what seems to be an ever-expanding poetry scene in and around Plymouth.
"There are any number of live events occurring on a regular and ad hoc basis, so many in fact that it's difficult to keep up."
