Final decision on Armada Way due next month

A FINAL decision on the £12.7 million revamp of Armada Way is due to be made in late February almost a year after 110 trees were cut down at night.

Plymouth City Council has set out a timeline for when the decision on a redesigned scheme will be made and stressed plans will be scrutinised democratically.

The authority said the revised plan would be considered at a special meeting of the growth and infrastructure overview and scrutiny committee, on January 22, before being discussed by cabinet, on February 5, ahead of a final decision on the scheme. At a subsequent cabinet meeting, on February 19, the final decision will be made.
