PLYMOUTH has been named the fourth most happy place to live in the South West, and people living in the city are much more cheerful than the national average, according to new statistics.
It is fair to say the past year or so has been a difficult time for many, with the cost-of-living crisis, the Government’s disastrous ‘minibudget’, the forced removal of two prime ministers, dire warnings of climate catastrophe, and the war in Ukraine. There have also been strikes, the ongoing NHS crisis, and evidence of a nation divided on the streets and plastered across social media.
