Lee Grant's new business will help people make complaints and applications against organisations and companies.
Mr Grant, who spent 25 years working in key management positions in the NHS, has vast experience of how large organisations work and the hurdles people face when they want to contact the right person. He's also aware of how many people find it difficult to make a claim, struggle with technology and working online, or simply are unsure how to word their complaint.
So he set up Plymouth Advice and Support Service (PASS) to do just that. He's offering support and guidance for those wanting to take on a major organisation such as a council, utility companies, broadband providers, the tax authorities, the NHS and even individual doctors' surgeries.
