ISSAKA'S ON TARGET

PLYMOUTH Argyle prospect Freddie Issaka scored his first goal for Wales under-19s as they won 3-1 against Turkey in Rhyl on Tuesday night.
The victory meant that Wales finished third out of four nations in their group for Elite Round qualifying, with England finishing top and advancing to the European Under-19 Championship finals in Romania this summer.
Wales went into the game against Turkey after losing their first two matches, 2-0 to England in Bangor and 1-0 to Portugal in Rhyl, but they finished the competition on a high.
It was Issaka who opened the scoring for the home side in only the third minute when he cut in from the left with a driving run into the penalty area and slotted home from a narrow angle.
