ABBIE LAUNCHES BESPOKE INTERIOR DESIGN BUSINESS

A PLYMOUTH woman has made it her mission to transform homes and businesses after quitting the NHS to launch an interior design business.

Abbie Downey set up her business, Feather & Fossil in June 2022. The 33-year-old specialises in interior design and wants to make her service accessible to people across Devon and Cornwall.

Using her natural eye for design to create a ‘more is more’ Maximalist approach to interiors, Abbie’s transformative designs range from colour drenching a full room to adding texture, pattern and accessories to a space.

Abbie, who previously worked with an NHS health commissioning team, said: “I think people can often be afraid of the idea of interior design or assume that it’s something that isn’t for them, but I want to showcase how interior design can be a reflection of a personality and how it can be fun and enjoyable for everyone.”
