Last October, The Herald reported on the first patients using the temporary health facility, which was set to form part of Plymouth's new Community Diagnostic Centre.
The CT [Computed Tomography] scanner allowed radiologists to detect disease or injury as early as possible, with the aim of increasing University Hospitals Plymouth capacity and take pressure off the main Derriford Hospital site, which will result in fewer cancellations.
In December a planning application was put in for a permanent home for the Community Diagnostic Centre, with designs for what it would look like when completed.
