EFFORTS are ongoing in a bid to claw back more than £800,000 from a Plymouth couple, after a city television network went bust with enormous debts.
Liquidators of Rhino Television and Media Ltd are determined to recover the cash from disgraced Plymouth businessman Connor Johnson and his wife, Lynn Johnson.
In April 2022, Mr Johnson was banned from being a company director for eight years, after Rhino Television went under, owing nearly £2 million.
Mr Johnson, aged 51 and from Plympton, was then declared bankrupt in December 2022. His wife had already been declared bankrupt, in April 2021 – the same month Rhino Television went into liquidation.
A progress report from joint liquidators at Gaines Robson Insolvency and Clough Corporate Solutions has now revealed investigations were carried out into the conduct of Mr Johnson which led to him being declared bankrupt with claims against him of £415,704.
