The 30-year-old Albanian,, from Diningham in Kent, was found guilty of the offences following a trial while his two co-accused were found not guilty. He was sentenced by Judge Neil Davey KC, who revealed that until these offences he had not been convicted of any matters in either this country or his home country of Albania. The jury had heard how Kastrati had travelled to the UK in 2012 and had settled down with a partner but on May 17, 2021 he was stopped in a car by police in the city I centre. Kastrati was the driver and a search of the vehicle revealed £3,000 in cash in the glovebox.
