A PLYMOUTH man looks unrecognisable after dropping a whopping 10st through sheer dedication’ and consistency’ following a series of worrying health scares, which could have changed his life in all the wrong ways.
Mark Humphries, 39, was diagnosed with gout in 2015 and then with early degenerative arthritis in his left knee five years later and knew it was time to make some big changes.
Fast forward eight years and the Curry sales assistant and Dr Who fan now looks like a different man.
Mark’s personal trainer, Danny Allen, said it is down to trust’ and consistency’ that Mark has got to where he is today, and hopes his transformation will inspire other people in Plymouth to adopt a more healthy lifestyle.
And Mark, who started his journey at 24.7st in 2014, and reached 13.11st this year, still keeps an old jumper to prove to himself how far he has come.
