AN eight-year-old boy is to join the hundreds of walkers taking part in this year's St Luke's Midnight Walk.
Noah, 8, will stay up late to walk in honour of his grandad

Noah Noble is one of the youngest ever entrants in the event and will be staying up way past his bedtime to walk in memory of his grandad.

He will join the many others putting their best foot forward for one of the city's best loved and most iconic annual charity challenges.

The event, on the evening of Friday, July 7, will shine a light on the special people who are no longer with us, and those striding forward together will support the compassionate care St Luke's provides for local families at the toughest times in their lives.

With three-mile, six-mile and 13.1-mile routes, starting and finishing at Plymouth Argyle's Home Park stadium, it's a family-friendly event that's open to everyone, from young children, teenagers and occasional strollers through to seasoned long-distance striders of all ages.

For many joining this year's walk, sponsored by Michael Spiers and Marchand Petit, each step they take will celebrate precious memories of a dear friend or family member they have lost, spurring them on to reach the optional target to raise £100 each in sponsorship.
