Offender back at scene of crime after release

A MAN who was released from a 22-month jail sentence after serving just seven months returned to the scene of one of his crimes within days of being released.

Simon Davis, aged 28, of no fixed abode, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on November 28, charged with two counts of burglary other than dwelling, one of going equipped for burglary and one of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.

Magistrates were told that, on November 25, he was found in possession of a cutlery knife which was deemed to have been in his possession for the use in the course of, or in connection to, a burglary.
