Parkway aiming to make the most of their home comforts

PLYMOUTH Parkway will be looking to make the most of home advantage in the coming weeks to continue their climb up the Southern League Premier Division league table.

Lee Hobbs’ side play Beaconsfield Town at Bolitho Park tonight, the first of five of their next six games which are on home turf.

A good points haul from those games would not only see them surge up the league table, but close in on the playoffs – something that has always looked unlikely because of Parkway’s poor start to the season and then playing catch-up due to so many postponed games either side of Christmas.

Now, they have momentum and are unbeaten in eight games and slowly chalking off those games in hand. A win tonight would see Hobbs’ men climb one place to 13th in the standings, but bring them to within touching distance of the top half of the table.
