MAJOR work on a project to tackle flooding in Central Park has been completed with the pathways reopened. Plymouth City Council said huge strides have been made on the Central Park Ponds project.
The council said earth and pipe works have been completed so there's no more heavy machinery in the park - and all paths are now back in use.
A council spokesperson said: "There's still planting to be done, so we're keeping some fencing in place until the weather allows us to do that in the spring, when we will seed grass and plant trees, shrubs and bushes to get this part of the park looking green again."
