A HUGE Rod Stewart fan claims he was assaulted and removed from the rock icon’s epic gig at Home Park – for dancing along to his favourite songs.
Kevin Rowe, 57, who lives near Liskeard, claims a member of the security team at the Plymouth concert confronted him and swore at him for busting moves.
Kevin, who has attended dozens of gigs in his life and described himself as a “gentle man”, claims he had been dancing and singing along with his wife at the concert on Saturday, June 24, before being abruptly stopped by a bouncer. Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses.
The 57-year-old said the altercation spooked his wife enough to make her vow never to attend another concert.
