Prince has settled for suspicion

AS the sordid saga surrounding Prince Andrew’s friendship with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein continues, the Duke of York is sinking further into a quagmire of scandal and disgrace.

Newly released court documents out of New York, including the mention of a purported sex tape involving the royal and “a girl”, filmed by Epstein, have not only tarnished his reputation to its lowest point but have also ended any remaining hopes of a return to his royal life.

It should be noted that at every twist and turn of the sorry scandal, Andrew has vehemently denied all claims against him.

But, while the accusations are his word against another, there is  no escaping his connection to Epstein that continued after the American was convicted of soliciting a minor in 2008.
