PLYMSTOCK residents were stunned by a spectacular sighting of dolphins in Hooe Lake.
Excited school children, teachers and members of the local community were delighted by the display put on by the marine creatures.
The dolphins were first spotted at around 9am on Friday, with witnesses reporting around six in total. Drone footage taken later in the day by Lewis Huddy, of Heads Up Definition and Elite Marine Services Ltd, shows four dolphins playing in the lake.
Mr Huddy said: “Awesome sight... Dolphins feeding and playing on the top of the tide at Hooe Lake this morning.”
