THE search has begun to find Plymouth's next Young City Laureate and become the voice of the city's youth.
Creative writing charity Literature Works has teamed up with Plymouth Culture to reach out to the city's aspiring young writers between the ages of 14 and 19 years.
The chosen young writer is commissioned to create work to celebrate special events or occasions in the city and young laureates have been invited to perform in libraries, schools and at festivals.
