A POPULAR Plymouth father who won an award for tackling the stigma of mental health issues is rallying people together in memory of a childhood pal who tragically took his own life.
The Clean Sheet Rhys Hammacott Memorial Day, at Devonport High School for Boys, will have a Christmas market, bouncy castle, a kid's football tournament and a main football game for adults.
Tyler Eastham is holding the event in memory of his childhood friend, Rhys Hammacott, who took his own life more than four years ago.
Tyler, aged 28, is the founder of The Clean Sheet a mental health forum for the Plymouth and West Devon Football League. Tyler wants to end the stigma surrounding mental health not just in football, but in all sports.
