A PHYSIOTHERAPIST is hosting a talk this week as part of her bid to break the taboo about pelvic health and the problems it can cause for women.
Kate Wilsmore offers a well-known Mummy MOT service from her Plympton clinic, helping mums who have recently given birth, but she says women who suffer pelvic problems later in life are often embarrassed to discuss their problems or to seek help.
Kate and her husband, Mike, who are parents to one-year-old Ophelia, run Wilsmore Physiotherapy at Langage Business Park. While Mike specialises in sports injuries, Kate has tailored her own practice to help women who struggle to find the rehabilitation they need for problems such as incontinence and prolapse.
