DIRECTOR of football Neil Dewsnip believes Plymouth Argyle's fortunes will improve once their lengthy injury list starts to clear up.
Head coach Wayne Rooney has been without a large number of players recently, including Joe Edwards, Ibrahim Cissoko and Morgan Whittaker, and results on the pitch have been impacted. The Pilgrims are now 21st in the Championship after heavy back-to-back away defeats against Norwich City (6-1) and Bristol City (4-0).
Dewsnip told a Plymouth Argyle Cornish Supporters' Association fans' forum in St Dennis: "In my opinion, if I was picking what I thought was Argyle's best team this season without naming any names - half of the 11 I would pick are currently unavailable to Wayne. So I don't want to do the excuse thing because that's not respectful, but it is a reality.
"I think I'm going to remain positive, and ask you to be a little bit more patient. I'm going to ask myself to be a little bit more patient as well. With a full choice team I think we will be okay."
