A PLYMOUTH mother has been left feeling "angry" after receiving a letter from her daughter's secondary school, Plymstock School, which said her child had visited the toilet during lesson time on seven occasions in a six-month period.
The mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, said the letter, which detailed how much time was being missed while students take unplanned toilet breaks, was "ridiculous". She added that the seven visits between September and March only amounted to her daughter taking a loo break in lesson time "once a month".
Headteacher Alan Yendell has said the letter was sent "to raise awareness, not to raise any concerns".
