A MOTHER from Sparkwell has died after falling over at a Devon hotel earlier this month.

Kadie Hunt was at Welbeck Manor Hotel, in Sparkwell, on Saturday, April 13, when she fell and hit her head on a fireplace.

The 38-year-old mother-of-two died at Derriford Hospital two days later.

Her mother, Shirley Hunt, has said Kadie fractured her skull in the fall and, at the time, the severity of her injuries were not known.

Kadie went home to bed after the fall, and was found unresponsive by a friend the following morning and rushed to hospital. Heartbroken Shirley, aged 59, is doing everything she can alongside her family to ease the trauma for Kadie's children, 13-yearold Caden and nine-year-old Poppy.
