A NEW American retro-themed fast food vegan restaurant in Plymouth is due to open this month.
Dimpsy’s Diner will open in Mayflower Street on June 22 and will have a 1950s and 1960s vibe, including an old-fashioned jukebox.
Restaurateur Laura Scott, who turned her Conscious Candy vegan confectionery business into a £1.3 million enterprise, is behind the new venture. It will open in the unit which housed the Samphire Brasserie vegan restaurant for nine years.
She said: “I’m so excited to announce that Dimpsy’s Diner will be opening on June 22. The diner will be filled with mid-century decor and will include our very own jukebox, Cee-Cee.
