Cong MP writes to Birla, flags 'inaccurate' remarks by Thakur in Parliament

DAYS after the political showdown between the treasury benches and Opposition parties in the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, Congress MP Manickam Tagore has written to Speaker Om Birla, alleging that PM Narendra Modi and BJP MP Anurag Thakur made "factually incorrect, inaccurate and misleading statements" in the House and sought appropriate action in the matter.

The move comes after BJP's Bansuri Swaraj submitted a notice against LoP Rahul Gandhi over alleged inaccuracies in his speech on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha.
