PRESIDENT of India Droupadi Murmu will formally inaugurate the KLE Dr Sampath Kumar S Shivanagi Cancer Hospital, a state-of-the-art medical facility for advanced cancer treatment, at 4 pm in Belagavi on December 30.
Announcing this at a press conference in Belagavi on Tuesday, KLE Society chairman Prabhakar Kore said Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot will be the chief guest. Dignitaries, including Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, state Ministers Dr Sharan Prakash Patil and Satish Jarkiholi, former chief minister and Belagavi MP Jagadish Shettar, Belagavi North MLA Asif Sait and Belagavi South MLA Abhay Patil will also be present. KLE Society president Mahantesh Koujalgi will preside over the programme.
