THE Kalasavalli-Siganduru bridge constructed across Sharavathi backwaters to be inaugurated in next three to four months.
MP B Y Raghavendra said, this bridge would become the lifeline for the people living in and around Sharavathi backwaters once it is open for the general public. This bridge would become the second longest bridge in the country as its length is about 2.25 kms with a special design of it. The bridge is coming up at a total cost of Rs 423.15 crores and final works were underway.
