OVER four years after the death of former president Pranab Mukherjee, the Centre has approved a "Samadhi" (memorial) for him at Rashtriya Smriti Sthal, a complex earmarked for the last rites and building commemorative sites of presidents, vice presidents and prime ministers in Delhi. The Congress veteran served as the 13th president from 2012 until 2017.
