The company has manufacturing units in China, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore and the United States.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed in Chicago on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is on a fortnightlong trip to the US. Jabil's executive vice president Matt Crowley, senior director Nitu Sinha and senior manager of global energy P J Farrenkopf were present. If the deal comes to fruition, TN will be host to all of Apple's major suppliers, with Foxconn, Pegatron and Tata Electronics already operating in the state.
