Lathicharge on students seeking exam cancellation

THE Jharkhand police resorted to lathi-charge on Monday to disperse students, who were protesting near Jharkhand Staff Service Commission (JSSC) against alleged irregularities in the JSSC-CGL recruitment examination held in September.

Jharkhand State Students' Union (JSSU) leader Devendra Nath Mahto, along with some other students, was also detained.
