JOS BUTTLER is hoping to live his garden fantasy for real by becoming the latest England captain to lift a World Cup.

To join Paul Collingwood in 2010 and Eoin Morgan in 2019 as successful England skippers at World Cups, Buttler must cajole one more big performance from his side who were utterly dominant against India, but now face a Pakistan side who feel destiny is on their side.

Buttler has enough experience to know that the only thing that really matters is the quality of their display on the day.

Adapting to the conditions, coping with the wet weather forecast, or the crowd that is going to be strongly supporting Pakistan.
