'Submit criteria adopted to pick TSPSC members'

Hyderabad: The Telangana high court on Monday gave the state government one week to furnish the criteria adopted to select six members of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

A bench of Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice CV Bhaskar Reddy sought the additional information after going through the material furnished by the state in line with its earlier direction last week while hearing a PIL by A Vinayak Reddy, a retired professor challenging the appointments.

Appearing for the petitioner, senior counsel S Satyam Reddy had complained to court in one of the earlier hearings that all the six appointed as TSPSC members did not satisfy the eligibility criteria.
