In his three-page letter to legislature secretary Rajendra Bhagwat, Koshyari specified he should convene a special session on June 30 at 11am with the only agenda of a trust vote and the proceedings must be concluded before 5pm. “Fadnavis briefed me about the current political situation and that Thackeray has lost majority in the Vidhan Sabha. He requested for a floor test to be conducted at the earliest to avoid any political bargaining by undemocratic means,” Koshyari wrote.
