Pregnancy fashion has usually been an equivalent to comfort clothing, which may involve sticking to oversized tops, flared pants and flat shoes or slippers. But maternity wear has slowly been breaking the fashion norms and over the years – not just clothes, but footwear too. Many celebs have been spotted wearing high heels during pregnancy, the recent examples being Alia Bhatt and Bipasha Basu. But fashion comes at a cost for public figures and both actresses were chastised on social media for opting for heels while being pregnant. Many people said the actresses were prioritising fashion over health. But most importantly, many wanted to know if the actresses’ fashion choice had medical approval or not.
