Residents have been protesting the poor water supply for the past 12 days in front of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB)'s an underground reservoir in the area. They have claimed that for the past two days, there has been no water supply in their blocks and they are dependent on water tankers.
Mausami Bhattacharjee, the C-9 block RWA president, said for the last one month, the water supply has been very bad. "There has been no water supply in our area, which has 926 flats, for the last two days. Things are getting worse for residents. DJB officials told us that there was some issue between B-1 and C-6, but they were not telling us the exact reason," she said.
