Sanju drives home a point

Kochi: As the Indian team left for the T20 World Cup, some players who didn’t board that flight to Australia were presented with an opportunity to prove their worth in the ODI series against South Africa.

One player who would have felt that he missed out on that T20 World Cup selection is Sanju Samson. While for many the ODI series against the Proteas on the eve of a T20 World Cup may seem inconsequential, for someone like Samson it was a massive opportunity to prove his worth. And prove he did on Thursday.
