Season's 2nd Poor Air Day As Relief Gone With Wind

Delhi recorded its second "poor" air day of the season on Sunday with an overall Air Quality Index of 232. Calm winds affected the dispersion of pollutants and experts said the share of stubble burning in Delhi's air was negligible.

As the air quality is likely to stay in the "poor" category for the next few days, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Sunday reiterated to all implementing agencies of the Centre and state governments of Delhi-NCR to strictly implement actions under Stage-I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). The commission also urged people to cooperate in adhering to the Citizen Charter of the respective stages and assist in effective implementation of the GRAP measures.
