Construction time again at Scotiabank Arena

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment president and CEO Keith Pelley said Scotiabank Arena will be "far more friendlier than ever before" after the next round of renovations.

The second phase of a $350-million renovation project of Scotiabank Arena was officially launched Tuesday, with plans to transform the 100-level concourse and improve the fan experience.

It's part of the plan that kicked off last year to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the downtown venue. The construction work means that Toronto's PWHL team cannot play any playoff games at the arena.
