Toronto police are investigating after shots were fired outside an elementary school for Jewish girls in North York early Saturday morning, police said.

According to police, multiple suspects arrived at Bais Chaya Mushka Elementary School near Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West just after 4:50 a.m. in a dark-coloured vehicle. Once there, they got out, fired multiple shots and then got back in the vehicle and fled.

While there are no reports of injuries, evidence of gunfire has been located and the front of the school was damaged.
