U.S.-supplied weapons help slow down push by Putin's forces to take Kharkiv

Ukrainian commanders say the ability to use long-range guided U.S. missiles, such as the Army Tactical Missile System, will help them target airfields and military infrastructure deep inside Russia.

Weeks after the decision allowing Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied weapons for limited strikes in Russian territory, the country is having some success in halting Russia’s new push along the northeast front, but military commanders are clamouring for restrictions on longrange missiles to be lifted.
