Why do photographers need mentoring?
The majority of photographers work alone, with often only themselves for support. If you are lucky you may find a supportive group online, but often these groups offer no real honest feedback with which you can develop or gauge your ability. Mentoring offers structured and supportive development for photographers, and with the right mentor your photography will blossom rather than stagnate.
A good mentor will enrich your photography journey and also open your eyes to other inspiration, not just their own work. For example, in a few months I have been introduced to writers, painters and photographers whose ethos or work my mentor believed would enrich my journey.
Where do you meet with your clients to mentor them?
