India's triumph at the 2024 Asian Champions Trophy, held at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir City, China, reinforced their position as a field hockey powerhouse. The tournament, which featured India, China, Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea, followed a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.

India's journey to the title began with a strong start, defeating China 3-0 and Japan 5-1 in their opening matches. The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Singh, remained unbeaten throughout the event, registering dominant wins against Malaysia (8-1), South Korea (3-1), and arch-rivals Pakistan (2-1). Harmanpreet was instrumental throughout, with his leadership and key goals driving the team forward.
