MILESTONE JOE'S ON A RAMS RAID

The 33-year-old – enjoying a third spell with his hometown club after sealing a move back to familiar surroundings from Lewes in August 2023 – celebrated his landmark appearance for the Kent side in style last weekend as he grabbed a brace in a comeback win over Erith Town.

His milestone goal came in the form of an audacious backheel to round off a sensational 23-pass move which kept the Rams sitting pretty on top of the Isthmian South East table.

Now captain Taylor is determined to continue firing on all cylinders and lead the Rams’ raid on silverware.

“It was a proud moment to reach 150 goals for Ramsgate on such a special day,” Taylor, the former Margate, Farnborough, Cray Wanderers and Ebbsfleet striker, told The NLP.
