The feature is turned on by default but can be changed in a phoneâs settings. The tool prevents the installation of applications from unauthorized sources and blocks âmalicious activity,â according to Samsung.
In a lawsuit filed in San Francisco federal court â Epicâs second against Google â the company said Auto Blocker âis virtually guaranteed to entrench Googleâs dominance over Android app distribution.â Epic, developer of the popular game âFortnite,â filed the suit to prevent Google from ânegating the long overdue promise of competition in the Android App Distribution Market,â according to the complaint.
