Sometimes it’s nice to take a risk and buy something for someone you’re not 100% sure they’ll like, but when I do that,I always make sure I include a gift receipt.
I know from personal experience there’s nothing more frustrating than receiving a gift that you don’t like, want or need. And rather than see the gift giver waste their money, I prefer to politely ask them for the receipt.
