That's just how life is when you're married to Meryl Streep's daughter, and sources say Mark has been "petrified" of the Oscar winner since he married her daughter Grace Gummer in August last year.
"Mark and Meryl have a very uneasy relationship," an insider tells Woman's Day, revealing how he "only once" made a joke about being "scared" of his mother-in-law before he was shut down with a look that quickly put an end to it.
