What can you tell us about your new book?

It’s a big adventure. I always believe that when I read any book or any piece of music, it’s amazing when it really uplifts my spirit, so that’s what I wanted to achieve.

You first had this idea nine years ago. What took you so long to publish it?

At first, it got rejected. Sometimes I might be able to see something in my mind and think it’s going to be good, but I haven’t quite executed it right. I’d never written a novel before. I’ve written short stories for a younger audience, but this is for any age.

Rosie is a redhead and a musician. How much of yourself did you put into this book?
