As the world is ever-growing and expanding, in terms of fetching knowledge from different sources, traditional higher education institutions are struggling to keep up. The job market in today's time and age is looking for a new set of skills that is not prioritised by the universities. In this article, we will talk about why universities are increasingly becoming irrelevant.

For generations, a university was the main aim for many students and their parents. After getting through the stiff competition, students get into these top-notch universities with the ambition of rousting their career path. Also, the degrees that were attained from these big universities paved the way for getting a wellpaid job. But in the recent trend, the number of applications decreasing for universities across the country signals some major changes.

Year after year, the bulk of fresh graduates complete their graduation armed with three to four years of education and a bachelor's degree in the search for secure and suitable jobs in the country. Yet many of these graduates do not manage to get a secure and reputed job in their chosen fields. And often they end up living and doing anything available. Lost and forgotten in their pursuit thinking what exactly went wrong even though these students had great grades in school and college? They completed their studies in university and still in the world of skills they seem to be worthless. Let us find out why universities are colleges are termed as irrelevant these days.
