Ruth Hovsepian lost 105 pounds
At 265 pounds, âI had a slow thyroid, my rheumatoid arthritis and gout caused a lot of pain and my hot flashes were miserable,â recalls Ruth Hovsepian, 59. She tried keto but didnât feel much better. âI heard about carnivore on a podcast. The expert said it helps with thyroid and menopause. It seemed like she was talking to me,â recalls the Montreal mom.

Early in her carnivore journey, a coach suggested Ruth skip cheese in case it was contributing to her inflammation. âIt did seem to help relieve pain from my arthritis and gout,â she recalls. After giving her body several months to heal, Ruth retested and found she could once again add a little cheese with no issues.
